Born and raised amidst the vibrant culture of Mithila, Sony Devi found her calling in the flowing lines and natural colors of Madhubani painting from an early age. What began as a simple joy of painting soon turned into a lifelong journey of devotion. Her commitment and talent were formally recognized when she became a certified artist at the Mithila Art Institute, Madhubani – a place known for nurturing some of the finest artists of the region.
